Art Around Town was created to stimulate the economy of small businesses and artists of all kinds – both here in Yorktown, NY as well as the rest of Westchester.
Lesley Jacobson is the President and Executive Director focusing on curating art and music and pairing them with local businesses. Lauren Sanders is the Program Director for all our markets and craft fairs. And there's always an incredible team of volunteers behind the scenes that help with it all!
We find talent, book events, plan the events and then promote them. We design logos, graphics, websites and interiors. We are a full-service operation here!
We are supported by the incredible town of Yorktown and have public spaces available to us. We have the assistance of our local businesses that are opening their doors to host events.

We want to see Yorktown thrive. That means businesses busier than ever and residents having the chance to explore the arts in their own town.
We also are passionate about cultivating artists and giving them the opportunity to showcase their work. We work with artists that have never shown their work to anyone or have never performed in front of an audience as well as experienced professionals who can mentor the newcomers.
